Spoonfork is a rock duo that started as a one man project(Lundin) in early 2007. The point of the project was to counteract such negative inflences, that so easily disrupt the process of music creation, as self contiousness and an unhibited thought process and simply create music from nothing but spontiniety and pure will.

Thru a discussions with a friend(Olson), about the idea of sharing the creative space, the project soon evolved into a duo and within months the first LP was being planned. The tracks evolved over time and became more complex and less static, and since the first tracks ever recorded by Spoonfork only contained electric bass, drums and vocals the additional guitars by classicaly trained guitarrist Adam Olson, of course, added another dimension to the sound. The duo still kept the original basis of the project and kept the emphasis, when recording, on spontaniety.

The duo also started their own label, Gourmé!, in 2008, working mainly with Spoonfork and fellow project "Prime Ape Got the Blues". Their friends in Stone Carpet are also a part of the Gourmé! family.
