We have finished the recording of our second album "Ad Luciferi Regnum" and the tracks has been sent to Tore Stjerna (Necromorbus) for mixing and mastering! I will be keep you updated on releasedates and a final tracklist, as well as showing all of you the cover for this blasting album!

Vanmakt will now take a break for a couple of weeks before we start the tryout for the drummer spot. We have 3 candidates at the moment, and hopefully one of them got what it takes, more about this when we have a decision.

Since we decided to let Gráal go and we r now without a permanent drummer we are looking for a new one! At the moment we have been asked to join a Euro Tour in March 09 and more proposals regarding gigs and tours have been discussed, but since we dont have a drummer we cant agree on anything. So, check these demands and feel free to contact us with any questions and interest!

Beside this we are looking for a member that has the disciplin to learn the songs for himself since we dont rehearse that much. The plan is that all members learns the songs by themselves and then we will meet up 1-2 weeks before a tour or recording session for rehearsals. This makes it easier for us to find a drummer and it doesnt really matter where you live, as long as you can bring your kit to us when its time for rehearsals.  

Vanmakt is a hard working band and we want to go all the way! So, we want either a session drummer that can help us on tours or a permanent drummer that also records the drums for our albums. We do not make a living out of playing music and we do not get a monthly paycheck! We make music cause the music is our lives, we all have jobs on the side.

Here are some updates regarding our second album "Ad Luciferi Regnum". As we have announced before, the album will be recorded by Björn Lindgren at EPM Studios during June/July 2008.

The album will be mixed and mastered by Tore Stjerna at Necromorbus Studio (Watain, Setherial, etc) and hopefully to be released during this winter.

A new line-up is also being announced and Vanmakt has decided to go separate ways with Aamoth and Gráal due to musical differences.

Their spots will be filled by M. Wohlfart (Yggdrasil, Nae'blis) and Liedheim (Nidrike).

At this moment, we will not play any live gigs since Liedheim is just filling the drum spot for this album, but we hope to find a live drummer during the autumn since we have been asked to join a European tour in March 2009. So, if there are any good and fast drummers out there, feel free to contact us for more information!

Hail!

Vanmakt has decided to continue our work with the Extreme Metal home Pulverised
Records and a new deal has been signed! Our second album entitled “Ad Luciferi
Regnum” will be recorded in June/July at EPM Studios with Björn Lindgren as the
engineer and producer. As I have announced before, “Ad Luciferi Regnum” will
contain 9 songs of blasting torment and hatred. The layout will be done by Alex
at 3XXX Design. You can find a pre-recorded version of “Brethren Of Lucifer” on
our Myspace player
(www.myspace.com/Vanmakt) and this song will also be featured on the new album
with some minor changes.

We are currently working on a brand new layout for both our Myspace and website.
Big changes will be made; out with the old and in with the new. Some things have
annoyed us for quite some time but it’s all about to change now. So, be prepared
for a new and stronger Vanmakt that will blast you all into oblivion!
