I operate The Metal Show on MySpace (currently looking into a regular website) where I focus upon America's and Europe's metal scenes in a bit of a 'sound exchange' as Interria calls it. That's not the entirety of what I cover but the largest part.

While I've interviewed several of these bands multiple times for The Metal Show, the list includes:

Satyrian, Trail of Tears, Sirenia, Monika Pedersen, Skepsis Positive, Battlelore, Dendura, Hysteria, Interria, Detonation, Level-C, Melancholy, Zonaria, Epica, Fifty Habit, Pathfinder, In Vain, Straight Line Stitch, Senate, Saint Diablo, Know Lyfe, Property, Before Eden, Something Wicked, Unexpect, and featured model Cherry Dollface.

Next publish will include: Seraphim, Flowing Tears, Wykked Wytch, Tyr, Interria, Temujin, and featured model JeNNifer Dolls.

Other interviews: Spiridion for Metaholics Music webzine.

Also in the works: Interviews/reviews with those bands who are also located in CD Maximum and I'll be beginning with Before Eden in the following weeks!

A preview of the next Metal Show publish ... indie labeled band Wykked Wytch!
(Now posted! 01Apr08)

When I interviewed vocalist Ipek about one of their
most controversial moves to date, this is what she had to say...

TMS: Since we're talking about 'Sweet Dreams', what was your take on the song and why did you choose to record it for your album?

Ipek: Originally we were goofing off during the rehearsal sessions. The main riff sounded like a great black metal riff, so we started jamming on it. We have never recorded a cover song before and the idea came of covering a "cover" song sounded interesting. We were going to include it as a hidden track, but all the feedback was so positive we just included it as part of the album.

Love 'em or hate 'em, there's not alot of space between
so what else to do but find out for yourselves?

Current publish includes indie artists Straight Line Stitch from Knoxville in my homestate of Tennessee!
So I'm especially proud to include their video 'Remission'.

I asked guitarist Seth Thacker about their upcoming CD, which will be featuring Jamey Jasta of Hatebreed, and what fans can be expecting ...

Seth: As a whole it just sounds incredible overall. We sit and listen to these tracks right now and we can't believe it's us. During the pre-production part of the recording we really gave some of the songs a major face lift. The songs have a better flow than they have in the past. We still have that heavy edge but the melodies stand out so much more!

Be sure to check them out and if you're near one of their shows with Devil Driver be sure to get a few shots with them for their page.

Cheers! -Chris
