Product Description:
The open, dynamic PMX 60 neckband headphones are the ideal choice for all portable audio sources. Their balanced sound image easily outdoes other mini headphones.
Amazon.com Product Description: Sennheiser's lightweight, open-ear PMX60s are tailor-made for portable listening and specifically designed for rock and pop music, with a high maximum playback level (122 dB SPL), low distortion (under .5 percent), and a dedicated bass tube to heighten musical impact through additional low-frequency resonance. (Keep in mind that even though the headphones perform at loud levels, your ears will surely deteriorate through extended loud listening.) The PMX60s' comfy neckband design prevents the dreaded "headphone hair," and their three-foot cord grants extended freedom of movement.

I have tried PMX 40 and PMX 100, this headphone doesn't even compare, though the construction is quite good but the bass quality is so poor. Surprising if your are to compare the sound quality with other over the ear headphones of Senn. You might as well as consider Koss KSC75 is way cheaper and sounds better, that if you don't mind clipping something on flaps of your ears. Actually, I want to return this item, that if I had the chance.

I have bought these headphones after reading the good reviews, however, I made a mistake and did not bother looking at the bad ones. While comfortable, these headphones are not worth buying if you are honestly looking for great sound.
Description said it's great for rock and pop.. It's not. While listening to rock music, the only clear thing you can hear is the voice. The instruments, however, are all muffled together, even when increasing volume. I like to be able to hear distinct instuments (drums, guitar, etc) but here it was hard to even figure out what is what.
Bass is non existent. If you are coming from iPod or alike earbuds, you will hear a small bass increase. If you are coming from your old neckband, you will hear a huge bass reduction.
When plugged into a computer, these headphone pick up a lot of static. It is impossible to listen to music with that kind of interference. If you are planning on using these with a computer, look elsewhere. ... Read More

I am not hard on this headphones - just normal use. But with normal use I have had 2 pair go bad - the connection cable. Will I be a fool and buy my third pair in 3 years? I am thinking hard about it.....

I had a pair of behind the neck headphones for the longest time (I think they were made by Creative), and I loved them. They've long since died, but I thought it might be nice to get another pair. These are great. They sound good, and still allow me to hear what is going on around me (I know for some people this is not a good thing). Fortunately, if you don't want to hear the outside world, these headphones are ridiculously loud. They fit well, and sound good, which is really all I can ask from headphones.

These headphones have excellent sound quality and are relatively durable. I had mine 3 years before I had to replace them. They're super comfortable, as well. I was able to wear mine with glasses on while excercising without any problems. The cord is nice and long, too. I'd highly recommend them.
